"In over 10 years of serving clients, I have never encountered someone as consistently disrespectful and unreasonable toward every team member who attempted to assist her. While I fully understand that rate changes can be frustrating, insurance pricing is determined by underwriting factors entirely outside of our agency’s control factors this client was informed of well in advance of her renewal. To clarify: she was an existing client whose policy renewed at a higher rate. She was not quoted a false price, and when she declined the new terms, we canceled the policy immediately upon her request and even offered to help her shop for alternatives. Regarding the refund: it was processed within the standard 7–10 business day timeframe. While we understand the financial inconvenience of waiting, every member of my team (all of whom she insulted and mistreated) still made daily efforts to follow up with corporate and expedite the refund on her behalf. Despite clear communication that refunds are issued by the corporate office not the agency she continued to falsely accuse us of withholding her money. She also rejected the secure, direct deposit refund option (which is both the fastest and most secure method), accusing us of attempting to “steal” from her. All attempts to explain the process and assist her further were met with continued verbal abuse and harassing messages. If necessary, we are prepared to share the written correspondence to demonstrate our professionalism and transparency. While we value all clients, no one regardless of their customer status has the right to treat people with hostility and disrespect, especially when our team was doing everything possible to assist. We pride ourselves on delivering honest, ethical, and professional service. Although we regret this client’s behavior and the disruption it caused, we are glad she has chosen to take her business elsewhere and wish her the best moving forward!"
